We are especially delighted to promote our upcoming Africa Day webinar, hosted by the DOHaD Trainee & Early Career Researcher Subcommittee. This session will celebrate African researchers, African data, and maternal and child health research across the continent, with presentations based on data from Uganda, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Mozambique: Register here We are also continuing to promote our online survey and warmly invite you to take part. Your responses will help guide the development of new online professional and career development courses for the global DOHaD ECR community. 1) Postdoctoral Position: University of São Paulo, BrazilRibeirão Preto Medical School, University of São Paulo, is inviting applications for a postdoctoral position on neurodevelopment, stress-induced emotional disorders, and neuroinflammation. The position is open to all nationalities and includes a FAPESP Postdoctoral Fellowship of R$12,570 per month, plus research reserve funding. Apply by 29 May 2026 by sending a CV, letter of interest, and two references to Prof. Hélio Zangrossi Jr: zangross@fmrp.usp.br
2) Trainee Tuesday Seminar Series (DOHaD Canada × US DOHaD)The Trainee Tuesday Seminar Series, a collaboration between DOHaD Canada and US DOHaD Trainee Committees, has returned and is inviting trainees who are interested in presenting their research and receiving feedback to present at a future session. 3) DOHaD Society 2026 Scientific MeetingThe 2026 Scientific Meeting of the Canadian DOHaD Society will be held June 2–3, 2026, at Western University in London, Ontario. Early Bird registration closes April 30. This is a great opportunity for any ecr/trainee in the region or anyone travelling to Ontario in June.
